Breastfeeding Basics Workshop - Forest

During an initial consultation, we will discuss your health history, your feeding goals, and address any issues or questions you may have. We will assess a nursing and/or bottle-feeding session based on your needs. We can observe a pumping session to help optimize milk output and comfort. We will work closely with you to create a plan that is realistic and manageable. Follow up support is also included for 2 weeks after the consultation via email or our messaging platform.

Initial In-Home Breastfeeding Consultation

During our time together we will reassess a feeding and make any necessary adjustments to your customized care plan. This visit includes 2 more weeks of follow up support via email or our messaging platform.

Follow-up In-Home Breastfeeding Consultation

This is a great opportunity to tailor your prenatal education to your specific situation. We not only to learn about breastfeeding basics but also to help understand normal infant behaviour. We will discuss current evidence based information that will provide you with useful skills to optimize your infant feeding journey. Some of the topics covered include; benefits of breastfeeding, significance of the first hour after birth, signs that your baby is getting enough, paced bottle feeding and when to be concerned.

Private Virtual Prenatal Education

This highly recommended workshop is a great opportunity not only to learn about breastfeeding basics but also to help understand normal infant behaviour. We will discuss current evidence based information that will provide you with useful skill to optimize your infant feeding journey.
